Stair Design: Closed stringer, open rise staircase

Balustrade Style: 38mm Round stainless steel posts, 50mm Dowel handrail, horizontal stainless steel cable

Specific Features: This C shaped staircase in Sydney’s Eastern Suburbs needed to be designed and built over an existing staircase below. The handrail consisted of a Blackbutt dowel handrail sitting on the pins on the stainless steel posts. To reduce the opening in between each rise, we installed aluminum flat bars under the nosing of each tread & winder
